small town: Bosque Farms Basics - 07/26/10 02:04 PM
Bosque Farms is in the middle of the high desert of New Mexico. The long trump suit in our playing hand is the Rio Grande River, which forms our western border. Without irrigation water from the river and occasional help from above, our verdant lawns, gardens, pastures and fields of grass and alfalfa hay would dry up. Water is of paramount importance to our farming community. Bosque Farms' motto is “Preserving Rural America,” and at our house we’ve done our best since 1991. We are Brian and Laura Warden of choicesrealestate.com in Albuquerque.

small town: Bosque Farms: Visit Virtual Tour Today! - 05/07/07 12:17 PM
Bosque Farms is such a great place to live!I wanted everyone out there to have a chance to visit right away, at least virtually... As I've explained before, my wife and I have really loved bringing up our daughters in Bosque Farms. It is one of the few places that still has that true "small town" community spirit, where folks know their neighbors, and, indeed, know most of the rest of the town! Our local community fair, active 4H clubs, great village facilities for Little League and soccer teams, horse shows and rodeos, playgrounds for the small fry and basketball, sand volleyball, and tennis

small town: Feelin' Edgy? Escape to Edgewood! - 05/04/07 04:51 PM
Edgewood is a fantastic little town just 20 minutes east of the major metropolitan area of Albuquerque, yet light-years away from city headaches and congestion. In recent years, Edgewood has grown rapidly, as easy commuting along I-40, the cooler weather on the east side of the mountains, and the availability of acreage for horse-keeping, gardening, or just plain privacy have prompted many former Albuquerque residents to move to the "green side." Yet the thriving little community maintains a dedication to old-fashioned values and a rural and small town lifestyle! The community's website proclaims a dedication to four basic values: Individual private property rights
