Johnston County is hurting a little bit. This is due in part to the large amounts of development that went on in 2007. It was over developed with higher priced homes. With prices coming down in areas closer to Raleigh, it is hard to get buyers into Johnston county. Clayton is the lightly shining light in Johnston county right now. It is the most desired place to live in this county overall. Overall these are not bad stats for some areas nationally, in the areas close to Wake County, these stats are not good though. absorbtion rate: Fuquay Varina, NC Market Stats - Lots of Deals to be Had - 08/28/08 10:40 PM
Here are the market stats for the Raleigh, NC market. we are certainly in a true buyers market at 8.9 Months supply of homes on the market. This is due in part to the town zip code crossing county lines into Harnett County. But there are still 8 months supply of homes on the market in Fuquay Varina, inside the Wake County line. There are a ton of deals to be had in this small town, just 15 miles south west of raleigh and cary. Here you can get alot of home and land for your money over the other areas like Holly Springs,
