This should be an Easy one...Right?
But I just got off the phone with the NC Real Estate Commission, and the answer met my expectations, but with a Little Twist.
1) You have to be 18 Years old to Sign a Legally Binding Contract.
2) But you can be as old as you want, to actualy Buy a home...... from 0+. If you have got the cash, you can leagally own real property in NC.
3) You must be at least 18+ in order to get a mortgage, some banks have the requirement of being at least 21+. But the … (0 comments)

Wake county in 2008 raised the Property Values on their residents home, but they also lowered the Tax Rates across the County and many of the Cities also lowered their Tax Rates as well. This in effect lowered the Wake County Residents Tax Liability on almost everyones home. Here are the 2008 Tax rates. The 2009 Rates will not be out until late spring, early summer. If you look below, you can see the change from 2007 to 2008. The rates are based on the cost per $100 in Value.

fuquay varina: Beautiful Sunset over Fuquay Varina, NC and Holly Springs, NC - 09/17/08 09:47 AM
Just the other night, my daughter and I walked out to get the mail and we saw one of the most beautiful sunsets over Fuquay Varina, NC and Holly Springs, NC. She said it looked like an Ocean of Pink and Purple. We just sat in the rocking chaire on the front porch and watch the sky fade to black. It was very claming and relaxing.

fuquay varina: Fuquay Varina Plant that make it through the Hot Summer - 09/17/08 09:35 AM
There are few plants that have really done well at my home in Fuquay Varina, NC during this very dry summer. These plants do well in most any soil and warm weather. You can often find these in Holly Springs, NC as well. One of them is the Knock-out Rose. It has lived and flourished well.
The other is Purple Heart. Begonias are also good heat resistant plants. Both are pictured below.

About a Year ago, I came home with a bunch of custom made shirts with our company logo on them. I had one for my wife as well. My Daughter was Three at the time. She looked at the shirts, looked at her mothers shirt and with a sad look on her face said "Daddy, Where's my Wray Realty Shirt." Holy CRAP!! Who would have thought my Three year old would have wanted a Wray Realty Shirt? Here are the market stats for the Raleigh, NC market. we are certainly in a true buyers market at 8.9 Months supply of homes on the market. This is due in part to the town zip code crossing county lines into Harnett County. But there are still 8 months supply of homes on the market in Fuquay Varina, inside the Wake County line. There are a ton of deals to be had in this small town, just 15 miles south west of raleigh and cary.

Fuquay Varina, NC is finally adding some real shopping. We have always had the wonderful Wal-mart that we all love, but there have been recent openings that is starting to move the town even further forward.
Finally Fuquay Varina has gotten their own Starbuck Coffee shop. This has been long coming, but it opened up just over a month ago!
The Biggest Grand opening is happening on October 1st, is the opening of a Kohl's clothing retailer. This is a big deal, since the town has not had a major big box retailer out side of Wal-mart and Home Depot … (2 comments)

I think as Realtors, it is our responsibiltiy to give back to our community. If you look at from the out side in, the community give us our business.

The reason I love these smaller towns are the festivals and downtown activities they provide for their residents. Recently I sponosored a local Clown and Facepainting Aritist for the entire Town of Fuquay Varina at the local arts fesitval.

1) Campbell's Diner - This is a great breakfast and lunch place. 100% Country Cooking. It is located in a small little yellow trailer on Main street; hwy 401. They have weekly and daily specials. Wonderful Macaroni and Cheese...when they have it.

Fuquay Varina, NC had a wonderful fireworks and community celebration on July 3rd. It was a great time. We met family and friends at South Park to have a picnic and let the kids play. There is always a Band playing, comedians, bouncey houses, rides, and slides for the kids. There is always vendors with great food, snow cones, cotten candy, and more.
The Fireworks were of course wonderful and the kids loved them. Hope you enjoy the pictures. Next July 3rd, Come and Join us a for a great time.
