Money Magazine recently cited Brownsburg, (Hendricks County) Indiana as the #7 most affordable growing town in America.  I have lived in other parts of the country and I can say it is easy to see why.  With a median home price of $131,000 and a median income of about $84,500 wrapped up in an area filled with small town charm combined with the convenience of a 20 minute commute from Indianapolis you get the best of both worlds.

 January is a time when I like to reflect on the prior years victories and defeats. What's working and what's
not. I know many agents who are cutting back in advertising in print materials.  In my former market in
 Upstate New York, print advertising in local Real Estate magazines was still a viable media.  I
received many calls on my listings and captured buyers who had questions about other agents
 listings.  Not so much here in Indianapolis I am finding.  I am not sure if the print material is becoming 
irrelevant to buyers because there is less content of interest, or is it really dying … (8 comments)
