This just shows that Airdrie Realtors are doing a great job for their sellers. If you are interested on how to maximise the … (0 comments)

canada: Big-name Real Estate Brands consider rival listings site - 09/05/10 05:54 PM
In a recent article in The Globe and Mail it was reported that; "Canadians looking for homes are used to visiting the industry-funded Realtor.ca to browse listings. But the brokerages feel the site lacks the advanced information features about specific neighbourhoods that are needed to deal with a slew of anticipated rivals, all of whom are investing heavily in technology to lure home buyers – and advertisers – away from the MLS."
Mr. Don Lawby, President of Century 21 Canada was noted as saying, “Many of our companies have iconic brands that have been built over the years”.  These companies include such prominent names as Century 21, … (3 comments)

canada: Airdrie,Alberta, will start its first public bus service with Calgary this fall - 03/29/10 02:23 AM
Airdrie,  will start its first public bus service with Calgary this fall.
The community of 38,000 will use the Intercity Express, with three $700,000 long buses Airdrie council has purchased. The provincial government's 2008 pledge of $2 billion toward regional buses or trains had Calgary and its neighbours plot a long-term transit system featuring express buses and eventually commuter trains.
The province hasn't rolled out the transit money yet, but Airdrie had held off on its long-standing transit expansion plans long enough and decided to go it alone.  "We just really couldn't wait any longer -- we had to meet the needs … (0 comments)

Lets start thinking about waste in a different way.   How about we think of waste as a resource something that can fuel our economy.

Maybe that aluminum can will become part of a power supply to power our laptop computer or maybe that old apple can turn into energy as it biodegrades.  Putting the four R's (Reduce, Recycle and Recover) this resource into action is what waste management is all about. This generation has largely embraced the principles of recycling and Airdrie , Alberta is on-board with this generation.
