When it comes to somethings around the home, we often end up doing a lot of the work ourselves. But should we do-it-yourselfers really do all the work. There are some jobs where a professional may be required. These would include any job that might be dangerous or where a mistake would be very costly. Some jobs are simply not worth the risk. Some tasks to reconsider before doing: • Major electrical work• Any plumbing that involves work under the house• Siding work that requires scaffolding higher than two stories• Labor intensive work that may be overly difficult, such as (6 comments)
Creating a tile backsplash is a fun project that is easy to tackle, especially if you have a helper!
Doing a backsplash in tile is a two day project simply because of the drying time required for the adhesive and the grout. This is a perfect weekend project to add value to your kitchen and make it look great!

Should I Renovate before I Sell? There are different schools of thought on this question but for the average seller but primarily a coat of paint is the best thing you can do to help sell your home after looking after curb appeal, ie: Mowing the lawn, tending to flower beds, painting facia power washing exterior. In my experience it is rare in our present market conditions to get the Reno Investment back out upon selling. If you want to renovate do it for you to enjoy don't do it to increase the value of the property. That is unless you have an (2 comments)
