open house: Give Your Home the “LIGHT” Touch - 01/05/10 08:39 PM

Obviously, when you’re ready to show your home to potential buyers, you will want it to look its best. What’s the fastest and easiest way to do that? Let in the light! By ensuring your home is well lit, you can make every room look more appealing.

Natural light is ideal because it has the added effect of making everything seem warmer and bigger. So, when showing your home do, make sure all the curtains and blinds are open.

Unless they’re critical to the décor, reposition things that are obstructing the windows. These may include ornaments, plants or even furniture.
