PALM BEACH GARDENS HOME SALES ARE UP WHILE PRICES CONTINUE TO DECLINE - 08/25/08 07:20 PM
Sales of single family homes in Palm Beach Gardens, West Palm Beach and throughout Palm Beach County increased slightly in July 2008 over sales a year ago, while prices continue to decline. We had thought prices may have bottomed in May and June of 2008 as we saw a slight bump upwards in median home prices -- from $314,000 in April climbing to $330,000 in May and $334,300 in June. But the median home price for July in Palm Beach County was just $291,300, a decline of about 13 percent from June. It is still a wonderful time to buy a home

PALM BEACH COUNTY HOUSING MARKET REFLECTING MIXED NEWS - 08/09/08 09:03 AM
There is both good news and not so good news in the Palm Beach County housing market. The good news is that prices of homes sold in Palm Beach Gardens, West Palm Beach and throughout the county have increased slightly over the past two months. The median price of a home sold in Palm Beach County was $334,300 in June 2008, up slightly from the May median price of $330,000. The bottom price was seen in April 2008 at $314,000. IRONHORSE COUNTRY CLUB HOME PRICES MAY BE BOTTOMING - 08/07/08 10:05 AM
While prices of homes in Palm Beach Gardens' Ironhorse Country Club continue to come down, the rate of decline is less than that of homes throughout Palm Beach County indicating a possible bottoming of prices in the community. Comparing home prices in Ironhorse from January 2008 through July 15, 2008 with the same period in 2007, we find prices declined about 7 per cent throughout the community.
