PALM BEACH GARDENS HOME SALES INCREASE AS PRICES CONTINUE TO DECLINE - 04/20/11 10:59 PM
Home sales in Palm Beach Gardens and throughout Palm Beach County increased significantly in March, 2011 compared with February sales, but prices continue to plummet and have now reached levels not seen since 2002, according to statistics released today by Florida Realtors.
More than 1100 single family homes were sold in Palm Beach County in March compared with just 738 homes sold in February, an increase of about one-third.  At the same time, the median price of a single family home in the country dropped to $186,500, nearly 10 percent below February prices and down almost 25 percent from a year earlier.

PALM BEACH GARDENS' BALLENISLES SEES SLUGGISH SALES IN 1Q 2011 AS PRICES STABILIZE - 04/12/11 05:43 PM
Sales in Palm Beach Gardens' country club community of BallenIsles were sluggish during the first quarter of 2011 while home prices seem to have stabilized.
BallenIsles is a high end country club community located west of Military Trail between PGA Blvd and Northlake Blvd in the heart of Palm Beach Gardens.
Just 10 properties sold in BallenIsles -- nine single family homes and one coach home -- between January and the end of March, a slower pace than expected.  During all of 2010 there were 51 units sold in BallenIsles -- 46 single family homes and five coach homes.

PALM BEACH GARDENS DISTRESSED PROPERTIES CONTINUE TO INFLUENCE THE MARKET; HOMES SALES INCREASE AS PRICES FALL - 04/06/11 04:40 PM
Palm Beach Gardens' area homes sales were generally higher in the first quarter of 2011 compared with the first three months of 2010, but prices declined as distressed and lower priced properties continue to have a major impact on the local real estate market.
 During the first quarter of 2011 more than 400 homes sold in Palm Beach Gardens with 75 percent of these priced at or below $300,000.  A year earlier, about 275 homes sold in the same time period with 63 percent priced at or below $300,000.
