Home sales at Palm Beach Gardens Frenchmans Reserve Country Club have increased substantially in the first part of 2011 while prices stablized. Through mid-June, 2011 there were 17 single family homes sold in Frenchmans Reserve compared with 18 homes sold through all of 2010. And prices have even inched up a bit, going from $231 per square foot to $238 per square foot. Frenchmans Reserve is a small upscale country club community with a dynamite location in Palm Beach Garden, just minutes from The Gardens Mall, Downtown at the Gardens and Legacy Place. Prices of homes at Palm Beach Gardens upscale country club community of Frenchmans Reserve continue to slide providing outstanding opportunities for buyers waiting for a great deal in the community. Through early October, 2010 just 10 single family homes sold in Frenchmans Reserve averaging $221 per square foot. That was a decline of 20 percent from prices in 2009 and a drop of 26 percent from the 2008 market. And the pace of sale has declined as well. While many communities are seeing sluggish sales among higher priced homes, Frenchmans Reserve homes sold at a brisk pace. There were 27 homes sold at Frenchmans Reserve in 2009 compared with just 12 sales in 2008, according to statistics from the Regional Multiple Listing Service. Prices of single family homes and condos in Palm Beach Gardens, West Palm Beach and throughout Palm Beach County continued their steep decline in November recording a 28 percent decline since the beginning of the year. The median single family home in Palm Beach County sold for $247,400 in November, according to statistics released by the Florida Association of Realtors. That is 28 percent lower than the price achieved in January 2008 which was $343,200.
