political correctness and the holidays: Has Political Correctness Made Us Overly Sensitive?

Yesterday was Mother's Day. I'm have no kids, so I've never had anyone acknowledge this day as anything special to me. Yesterday, however, I was acknowledged by two friends. One out of state, and my neighbor.
My neighbor knew that my husband and I have been on a strict, MSG and glutamate free, diet. It's for health reasons for my husband, and I lovingly follow the same restrictions while in the house. I made mention to my neighbor that the thing I missed most was Mac 'n Cheese. She remembered this and baked up a dish of homemade Mac 'n Cheese … (9 comments)
