rejecting showings: Why Are You on the Market if You Won't Allow Your Home to Be Shown?

I was planning on writing about this subject, but just so happened on a post by J. Phlip Feranda about Jason Crouch's post on the matter today. Uncooperative sellers. Since Jason seemed to have unearthed a bunch of comments about how he should or should not have done things, I'll start my post by saying that in Northern Virginia, we follow whatever the Listing Agent has entered in the MLS. Most times we are instructed to call the Sellers directly. Sometimes, there is a showing service to call. And rarely, we are to call the Listing Agents for scheduling. Whatever is
