safemls: MLS Security: Is your MLS safe? - 08/29/07 02:57 PM

Rhode Island Statewide MLS recently implemented new security measures for gaining access to the MLS. All agents have received "security tokens" that generate a one time password EACH time you log on to MLS.
Here's why Statewide MLS says we needed the change:
"State-Wide MLS identified the need to implement a security initiative designed to provide optimum protection for YOUR valuable MLS and consumer data. As data and identity theft has become a growing concern nationwide, reliance on usernames and passwords as the sole form of user authentication is no longer an option.
