Does a bed room have to have a closet?

I recently finished my basement and added a bedroom down there. I didn't build a closet though. I was wondering when I go to resell can I legitimately call it a bed room? It has an escape windo that meets code and a bathroom off of it. I was just wanting to check. Thanks for any help or answers.
