Residential Real Estate Sales Up 31% from October 2008
CHARLESTON, SC—(November 10, 2009) Preliminary data from the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS® showed a 31% increase in closed sales year-over-year.  721 homes sold this October, as compared to 549 homes in October 2008.
The increase in sales is largely attributed to a more affordable market, as buyers take advantage of the robust inventory of fairly priced homes.  In line with the national trend of an 11% decrease in median price, the Charleston area saw median home prices settle to just under $170,000 in October, a … (0 comments)

The Most Amazing Sunset on Edisto Beach - 11/13/09 10:10 PM
Edisto Beach SC- Friday the 13th for most of the day was gloomy and dreary.  You know, one of those days you wished that you had just stayed in bed.  It was cold, wet and it was the end of the week... Finally the day slumbered its way to the finish line. Edisto Town Council Results - 11/03/09 10:11 PM
It was a strong turnout today for Edisto's Town Council Race.  Here are the results:
DARBY 147
HUTTO 322
MANN 318
Of the 655 eligible voters, 418 cast votes. Of those, 86 were absentee.
Wow! That's a 77% turnout!  We have heard the Vote of the People.  Congratulations to the Winners!
