True or False: Social Media Marketing is a simple and effective means to generate sales.
“The misconception is that because Social Media marketing is so tangible, it’s also easy. The fact is that it can become one of the most time consuming distractions of your business plan. And what you’re doing may not even be the most effective method to achieve the desired results.” I paraphrased a little but so says Jorgy Jorgensen who is the Owner of Local Likes-A Social Media Company, when we sat down to discuss the subject a couple of weeks ago.
Social media marketing accounts for over 50% of the sales generated by my team. I don’t claim to be an expert on the subject. If anyone does, they are probably full of beans. There is no ‘one size fits all’ methodology when it comes to Internet or social media marketing. The options are mind boggling and can suck up every bit of your time and money if you’re not careful. Just when you think you know what you’re doing, it all changes. We all have a finite amount of resources in terms of time to devote to doing the ‘work’ of our business.
