Homes For Our Troops - A Soldier & His Family Get a New Home Part III - The Key Ceremony - 02/28/10 03:23 PM
Saturday was key turnover day for the Downing family at their brand new Homes For Our Troops custom built home in Middleboro. It was a day of celebration regardless of the dreary weather and hundreds of volunteers, supporters, family & friends, the media and politicians were there to participate in the event.

You want to buy a bank owned property, or foreclosure because you think you can get the best deal? If you must, then caveat emptor (buyer beware)! There are many bank owned, or foreclosure properties for sale throughout Plymouth and Barnstable counties in Massachusetts and many of them are not in very good condition. In fact, the majority are in need of some repair, require complete rehabilitation, or are complete tear-downs. They are generally neglected, damaged and either have holes in the walls, torn out appliances, broken windows, missing fixtures, all of these problems and/or worse! Are you leaving money on the table? If you are thinking about buying a new home and you have NOT started actively searching, and you qualify for the $8,000 first time home buyer tax credit, or the $6,500 long term resident tax credit then you might be leaving money on the table. Please don't wait for the government to extend the program. It is highly unlikely that the tax credit will be extended. So why not use it, rather than lose it? It might be February, but it is never too early to start thinking about fishing if you ask me, and here is something you should know about Massachusetts Saltwater Recreational Fishing.
