Then why is it Mr./Mrs. Lender that you rejected our cash offer? Okay, I know you are convinced that the offer was low. Buying a Bank Owned Home in Massachusetts - Buyer Beware! The clouds first started gathering back in March when Justice Keith C. Long invalidated the sale of two foreclosed properties in Springfield Massachusetts. He ruled them invalid as a result of the banks not having filed the appropriate paperwork in accordance with Massachusetts state foreclosure law. The original ruling was just upheld by a state Land Court judge. What will this do to pending and future sales of foreclosed properties? I also know that many of you are under the impression that since the bank owns the property, they want to dump it and they will accept anything for an offer. In some instances you might get lucky, but chances are you could get burned. Your idea of an offer might be way off the banks targeted business plan. Yes, I said business plan.
