hurricane earl 2010: Gone, but not Forgotten.... The Mighty Elm. - 09/03/10 08:13 AM
This great big, once majestic elm tree used to live at the edge of the field, very close to the farm house. Unfortunately, it died as a result of too many years of caterpillar infestation. It was taken down our of fear that Hurricane Earl might knock it down and perhaps into the house. It is gone, but not forgotten.
Nathan and Brennan worked hard, and had to employ the big loader for the final push. Here they are posing with their trophy. Nice job guys!
