plymouth county buyers agent: Average or Older - Are They Included in Your Home Search? - 09/27/09 03:44 PM
Today, it seems that most Buyers are convinced that they must have newer, shinier, larger, granite, stainless and/or tile. A house must have all the modern conveniences, all the bells and whistles, and be the best in the neighborhood. Is it me, or has the modern home become more of a status symbol, rather than a place to live? A show piece rather than a place to raise a family? While you are sitting there eating your dinner in front of the television watching your Tivo'd episode from the day, night, or week before and your dining room is left in

It was a grey kind of day for the kick off of the Jazz & Blues Festival at the Pinehills in Plymouth MA today. However, regardless of the bleak weather, there was a decent gathering at the Village Green. It was my good fortune that I was in the area to be able to catch a good portion of the set performed by, Next Exit. What a pleasant surprise. They are a group of very young men from Sandwich High School. A source mentioned that members of the band also play with other groups, and have played at other events and

ReBar Camp Boston MA 2009. The day started off with a little unexpected drama. I arrived early as I didn't want to miss one moment of the event. I had read so many good reviews written by Active Rainer's about the ReBar camps that I could hardly wait for it to begin. What was in store? Who would I meet? What new tips would I learn from the sponsors and attendees? There were several others that arrived early as well. You could feel the anticipation in the gathering crowd outside the building. There was a brief delay since nobody had the key

plymouth county buyers agent: Visit The Middleboro Herring Run - 05/10/09 07:53 AM
I stopped by the Middleboro herring run recently to check out how many fish were in the river and migrating up the ladders toward the Assawompset to spawn. I was pleasantly surprised. There appeared to be a decent number of herring in the river. There are two species of river herring that migrate from the ocean, make their way up to the Nemasket River and eventually spawn in the Assawompset Ponds in Lakeville. The alewife is the first to arrive here in late March throughout May, while the blueback migrates here in late April through June. Once the eggs are laid and fertilized,

plymouth county buyers agent: Metamorphosis of a Buyer - 04/14/09 09:23 AM
If you take a moment to ponder what has been happening with home-buyers over the past year, you might see that a metamorphosis of sorts has been transpiring with the decision making process. For some buyers the decision to buy a home was not difficult. They needed a home and therefore purchased one. For other buyers, it has been a process much like that of the cycle of the butterfly. It started with an egg... The idea of purchasing a home was there, but they were not quite ready or in a position to act upon their intentions. As in real estate, the

Consumers are pretty smart and if you read or listen to the news, you will see that refinancing has increased dramatically. Why do you think this is? If the interest rates are going to drop further, it will
