jon huntsman: Jon Huntsman to withdraw - 01/15/12 11:55 PM
Reuters reports that Former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman will withdraw from the Presidential Sweepstakes in advance of the South Carolina Primary on Monday (tomorrow) and prior to the Florida Primary on 31 January.
I have written favorably about Governor Huntsman.  He has an excellent conservative record of accomplishment at Governor of Utah with Pro Life, pro second amendment positions and with a Health Care system that provided for a market driven private solution rather than the government mandate of Obamacare or Romneycare.

The New Hampshire primary is in the history books for 2012.  Mitt Romney is number 1, Dr Paul is number 2.  The only news is that former Governor of Utah, Jon Huntsman, is number 3 with 17% of the New Hampshire vote.

The debate is going to be rebroadcast this evening (Monday 12/12/2011) on one of the C-Span … (2 comments)

President Obama is reaching across the aisle to nominate Republican and Utah Governor Jon Huntsman, Jr to be Ambassador to China.
Huntsman is in his second term as Utah Governor, having won his second term last year with over 77% of the vote.  Son of a billionaire businessman and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Governor Huntsman is married with seven children.  He has been mentioned as a possible candidate for President.
Governor Huntsman may be uniquely qualified for the post in China.  In addition to his broad business background, he served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of … (10 comments)
