This park is owned and maintained by the County of Santa Clara. It was purchased in the mid 70's and turned into a rich historical park full of trails and discovery.
The parking lot is spacious, and free. As you approach the trial head, you are greeted with a great board showing you the trails, and many handouts explaining the paths you can take.

So my mom asked me to get rid of a couch, loveseat and ottoman... About 6 months ago... I was going to dump it during the local dump anything days with the city, but I was in Vegas... Then maybe try to sell it on craigs list... And um... I never got around to it... So there it sat in her garage, waiting for me to move it. I mean, I do own a truck, and you know if you own a truck, you always have to help people move, right? LOL!

Happy Hollow Park & Zoo, next to Kelley Park in San Jose. There is alot of new construction here at the zoo. From a new parking area and bridges opening soon, to new ticket booths, and that is just the outside. On the inside, there are new play areas, new petting zoos, new play structures, roller coasters for kids, and just about everything!
Happy Hollow Park $ Zoo is located at Kelley Parkin San Jose, just off of 280 and 10th Stree, near downtown. Parking is $10. Fees are $12.00 for ages 2-69. 70+ is $8.
Century Theaters on Winchester Blvd. The end of an era in San Jose.
