florida property taxes: Florida Lawmakers Send Property Tax Plan to Voters - 06/18/07 09:39 PM
The Florida Legislature approved a new property tax plan last week at their special legislative session.  The new plan will go to Florida voters on January 29th and will require a ‘yes' nod from 60%, or greater, of the voters.
Under the new plan, homeowners would receive a so called "super-exemption", whereby each homeowner would receive a 75% exemption on their homes first $200,000 in value, and 15% on the next $300,000 on value.  Additionally
