Finding a Home In Murrieta California to Make Your Own the Hard Way. - 04/26/10 09:21 PM
Today I received another phone call from one of the signs on a Listing I am Marketing. This particular property is already in escrow as it's a nice home that was priced according to the value. The caller was disappointed to hear that and the sad part is she and her husband are going about finding a home in all the wrong ways.
They were confused as to why so many different agents had listings in the area and why wasn't there only one agent for the area. Their real problem was they didn't remember my particular listing as they had … (3 comments)

Waiting for the Return of a Normal Real Estate Market in Murrieta California. - 04/25/10 07:45 PM
There is Much talk about the State of the Real Estate Market across the Country and Murrieta California is no Exception. It is a fact that the prices of homes are significantly down from a few years ago but are we in a 'bad' market? Depends on the source and the interpretation of the data that is available as perception is in the eye of the beholder. Interest rates for home loans are still low at 5%-6.5%, in 1978 I paid 10% for a FHA loan, so to some that may still be high but to people like me it's Cheap money … (6 comments)

The Obnoxious Neighbor Followed Through on Her Threat: She Called the Cops. Part 2 - 04/22/10 08:34 PM
Rekeys on a REO property are done on a daily basis and is actually kind of boring after while. One thing for sure is it's always like Christmas when the lock is picked because you never know what the gift on the other side of the door is going to be. The scheduled appointment for this particular property was 10:30 AM with Affordable Lock & Key my go to guy Rob. I always meet with the locksmith with my paperwork in hand authorizing me to be on the property and gain access. At 10:05 my phone rings and It's Rob panicking that … (20 comments)

The Bad Guy is Here Guess We Better Leave. - 04/18/10 08:09 PM
It Must be Human Nature for all of us to form an Opinion on many Subjects and without Having all the Facts. It also commonly happens to many folks in our perception of others without meeting the person or knowing all the circumstances of a particular situation and Attorneys argue this point everyday in courts across our land. When the facts come out many times the opinion changes and some folks just humbly walk away hopefully aware their perception of others was and is wrong.
At my age and years of walking through life I have been called Many things, most of them … (12 comments)

Home Prices Have Increased in Riverside County California Including Murrieta. - 04/15/10 09:02 PM
The Median Home price in Riverside County California increased to $198,000 in March 2010. That is a 5.8 percent increase from March of 2009 according to Dataquick, a real estate research company, that tracks all closed sales through out the county. There was also a 1 percent increase from February 2010 to March 2010 and as we have entered the traditional ' buying season' it is fair to assume that prices will continue to rise.
We have been seeing multiple offers on many properties over the last year if the property is priced right. The good news for home buyers is … (5 comments)

Texting and the Real Estate Business: Give Me a Break!!!!! - 04/13/10 08:54 PM
Life is always in constant change and even I try to embrace change. Indoor plumbing is phenomenal and electricity never seizes to amaze me when I turn on the TV to watch a ball game. A refrigerator that keeps my beer cold is a wonderful invention built out of necessity by a like minded person. Computers have changed our world and even I have embraced this Blogging stuff to bring in more business.
When rotary dial phones went the way of the Dodo bird I had no problem with it and then the invention to top them all came along: the … (12 comments)

Some Good News for Homeowners in Murrieta, Temecula, Menifee and Surrounding Cities that are Upside Down With Their Mortgage. - 04/11/10 07:02 PM
In Todays World it is not Uncommon for Homeowners to owe more on Their Home than it will Sell for in the Market. This is not the first time in history that this has happened but it is the first time it has happened to the majority of homeowners. It is now the Topic of most social gatherings and unlike the days gone by Selling a property "Short Sale" is the norm rather than the exception. Dare to ask anyone about the Real Estate Market and you will likely hear a response that "my house is not worth anything near what … (5 comments)
