agent: Ahhhh the Lock Box Issue Has Been Solved. Or Has It? If You Can't Get in Join the Association of Realtors. - 09/11/10 06:25 PM
On June 1,2010 the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) I belong to, IMRMLS has required all listings to have an electronic Supra lockbox to be present if there is a lockbox. Their reason is unknown to me but I suspect it is due to the complaints from agents who cannot get listing agents to return their calls for combo codes for the REO (Real Estate Owned) properties that typically have combination lockboxes on them. As a listing agent for my fair share of REOs I personally have always called back, if I didn't catch the call, to provide the combo as … (17 comments)

agent: Considering Purchasing A Home in Murrieta California? Don't Overlook the Short Sale Homes. - 05/18/10 08:42 PM
By now virtually everyone has heard the term 'Short Sale' when it pertains to Real Estate. Many of the things people heard were negative such as they take forever to close, they never close or that you will be wasting your time looking at them so many buyers would not even look at them. A few years ago there was some truth to all of these statements but the times have changed.

agent: Finding a Home In Murrieta California to Make Your Own the Hard Way. - 04/26/10 09:21 PM
Today I received another phone call from one of the signs on a Listing I am Marketing. This particular property is already in escrow as it's a nice home that was priced according to the value. The caller was disappointed to hear that and the sad part is she and her husband are going about finding a home in all the wrong ways.
They were confused as to why so many different agents had listings in the area and why wasn't there only one agent for the area. Their real problem was they didn't remember my particular listing as they had … (3 comments)

agent: Waiting for the Return of a Normal Real Estate Market in Murrieta California. - 04/25/10 07:45 PM
There is Much talk about the State of the Real Estate Market across the Country and Murrieta California is no Exception. It is a fact that the prices of homes are significantly down from a few years ago but are we in a 'bad' market? Depends on the source and the interpretation of the data that is available as perception is in the eye of the beholder. Interest rates for home loans are still low at 5%-6.5%, in 1978 I paid 10% for a FHA loan, so to some that may still be high but to people like me it's Cheap money … (6 comments)
