lockbox: Ahhhh the Lock Box Issue Has Been Solved. Or Has It? If You Can't Get in Join the Association of Realtors. - 09/11/10 06:25 PM
On June 1,2010 the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) I belong to, IMRMLS has required all listings to have an electronic Supra lockbox to be present if there is a lockbox. Their reason is unknown to me but I suspect it is due to the complaints from agents who cannot get listing agents to return their calls for combo codes for the REO (Real Estate Owned) properties that typically have combination lockboxes on them. As a listing agent for my fair share of REOs I personally have always called back, if I didn't catch the call, to provide the combo as

Life is always in constant change and even I try to embrace change. Indoor plumbing is phenomenal and electricity never seizes to amaze me when I turn on the TV to watch a ball game. A refrigerator that keeps my beer cold is a wonderful invention built out of necessity by a like minded person. Computers have changed our world and even I have embraced this Blogging stuff to bring in more business. Most properties on the market in today's world have a lockbox at the property containing the keys to the home allowing agents easy access to show the property and in the case of a regular sale the lockbox used most is electronic and that allows the listing agent to see who has opened the lockbox and when it was opened.Kinda keeps folks honest to a degree. The Real Estate Owned (REO) properties usually have a combination numbered lockbox so vendors can access the property to paint, trash out or do whatever work is required of them by the bank or the listing

Mr and Mrs Murrieta Ca. home buyer please do not ask me for the lockbox code on the property you just drove past. Those codes are for agents only and as a professional real estate agent I take my profession seriously as I hope your Doctor does as well.Yes I do remember you previously worked with an agent who gave you the codes to properties in Temecula Ca. but you did say you felt he wasn't doing a good job in helping you to find a new home.
