Congratulations on your purchase of a home of your own. Words that most people love to hear as they make plans to move into their home and maybe do some fixing up such as painting,changing light fixtures etc but when do you, the buyer, actually have the legal right to do these things?

There is Much talk about the State of the Real Estate Market across the Country and Murrieta California is no Exception. It is a fact that the prices of homes are significantly down from a few years ago but are we in a 'bad' market? Depends on the source and the interpretation of the data that is available as perception is in the eye of the beholder. Interest rates for home loans are still low at 5%-6.5%, in 1978 I paid 10% for a FHA loan, so to some that may still be high but to people like me it's Cheap money … (6 comments)

Virtually everyone in the country has heard the Federal Government has been giving away free money not only to corporations but first time home buyers as well. As with all things an end of time will come and the $8000 dollar tax credit for first time home buyers is scheduled to end on November 30th of 2009. If you have not owned a home for the past three years you can qualify for this credit but time is running out quickly.

In this crazy Real Estate market we all are experiencing at this time everyone is getting frustrated and when I say everyone I mean buyers, buyers agents, listing agents and even the Asset Managers who represent the Investors of the Real Estate Owned (REO) properties and the blame for the length of time to get a response to offers made has gotten ugly at times.
