In Part 1 the HUD electronic bidding process was laid out for you.
In Part 2, the HUD contract execution process was reviewed.
Now, your Contract has been executed, and HUD has established the title company that will handle your escrow. Ordinarily, the buyer may choose services, but when purchasing a HUD home,  HUD designates a title company that typically handles all their escrows in a particular county.

In Part 1, the HUD Pre-Bidding and Bidding process was reviewed.  Now, your bid has been accepted by HUD and yet, you are not quite under Contract although you are well on your way.
First, the Contract will be overnighted to HUD for execution; your HUD Broker will usually do the overnighting.
In the package, include the completed, signed originals and 2 copies, and retain a third copy for your files. Use the HUD Checklist to make sure all the forms are completed.
Remember to use BLUE ink only to fill out the fields in the document.

I have scoured for a layperson's informational process for those interested in bidding, purchasing and enjoying a HUD home, and have found the resources lacking.
What I usually do as an Arizona Certified HUD Broker is provide my buyer client with a copy of the Broker Handbook, but for most of them it is TMI.
So hopefully, this will demystify and clarify the HUD homebuying process.
 
Pre-Bidding Phase:
