Keller Williams Realty's RED Day 2012 was another huge success!  Among the projects undertaken here in the Flower Mound, Lewisville Texas area, volunteers (including me!) are shown below helping a family who's husband/father was in a motorcycle accident.  It is an important part of the Keller Williams culture to be involved with our community, and to give back to the community.

Property taxes can vary quite a bit in the Dallas area, depending on what city and county the property is located in.  Here are some websites where you can look up property tax information:Dallas County:  http://www.dallascad.org/Tarrant County:   http://www.tad.org/Denton County:  http://www.dentoncad.com/Collin County:  http://www.collincad.org/I can also look up and provide you with property tax information for specified properties.  You may already be aware that Texas does not have a state income tax.  We do have a … (2 comments)

You've probably heard that the federal government has added a new tax credit for buyers who have owned their current homes at least five years (or who have owned a home for 5 consecutive years out of the past 8 years) of up to $6,500.  To qualify, you must sign a purchase agreement by April 30, 2010, and close by June 30.
It doesn't matter if the new home you purchase is more expensive or less expensive than your current home.  You can still get the tax credit!  There are income limits, but those limits are fairly high so most people will qualify … (0 comments)

I had someone ask me this question the other day. It really is a great question. One thing I've found true in the last couple of years is that the "current market" can really vary by community and even by neighborhood.

Many people assume the "current market" is only what they hear and see from the various news outlets. Well, there are some areas that sales have been very slow, and foreclosures high. But there are other areas that are still fairly high in demand, with prices holding steady or even some slight increases.
