Home buyers in North Texas, including the Lewisville and Flower Mound areas, are finding that now is a great time to find their Texas dream home!  Mortgage interest rates are at all-time lows, and there are some great homes available in all price ranges.  The following graph (shown with written permission) shows the historical rates from1963 to 2010.

Narrowing it down to more recent trends over the past 20 years, and broken down by 30 year fixed, 15 year fixed, and 1 year ARM rates is this graph:

Keller Williams Realty's RED Day 2012 was another huge success!  Among the projects undertaken here in the Flower Mound, Lewisville Texas area, volunteers (including me!) are shown below helping a family who's husband/father was in a motorcycle accident.  It is an important part of the Keller Williams culture to be involved with our community, and to give back to the community.  

It's been a busy season so far for home buyers in North Texas.  So today it is back to providing a service to both home buyers and home sellers!  We seem to be having more buyers than sellers here … (0 comments)

Happy RED Day, North America! Tomorrow, May 10, 2012, all across the United States and Canada, Keller Williams Realty associates will be taking part in RED Day.

The federal government has approved an extension of the first-time homebuyer tax credit of up to $8,000.  To qualify, you must not have been a home owner in the past 3 years, and you must sign a purchase agreement by April 30, 2010, and close by June 30.  Call or email me to take advantage of this opportunity while you can - a congressman was quoted as saying this likely will not be extended again!

Just a quick note, in case you're not aware.  When searching for homes to buy, please remember to include the city of Oak Point when searching for homes in the Little Elm, Corinth, and Denton areas.  Oak Point is a small, but growing, community right next to Little Elm (and with very close access to the new Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge, which will provide convenient access to I-35E).
