 Did you know that one in five adults in the Houston Metropolitan area are unable to read this sentence?
In fact, more than 50% of adults in the labor force of Texas function at the two lowest literacy levels. On March 25, 2010, the Adult Reading Center will host its 7th Annual Red Hat Literacy Luncheonat Epiphany Lutheran Church in Pearland. All proceeds raised with benefit the Center whose mission is to provide free instruction to adults with low literacy skills.
