Looks like it will be a perfect time for this weekends Pearland's 2010 Winterfest. No doubt it will feel like Winter with the freezing temperatures.  My son Jayden and I have gone to the Pearland Winterfest the last couple of years.  Honestly, I can't wait to go back this year! There is something for everyone.  Jayden loved the Petting Zoo and the snow hill last year and I loved the carnival style food.

Okay Pearland residents I hope you make it out to Friday Night Flics in the Park this Friday July 24, 2009. The movie being shown will be at Pearland's Independence Park located on Liberty Drive. The Featured movie will be Hotel for Dogs (Rated PG). The movie will start around 8pm. Bring your family, friends, blankets, hot dogs and cokes. This will be a great Pearland night as long as it does not rain! Hope to see you at the Pearland Flick!

Pearland EMS OFFERS BABY-SITTER TRAINING CLASSES
Pearland EMS is offering three sessions of BLAST! (Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training) classes this summer.  The 8-hour session is $20 per person. Session 1 - Saturday,   June 20 & June 27Session 2 - Sunday, July 19 & July 26Session 3 - Saturday,   Aug. 1 & Aug. 8
All classes will be held at the Public Works Training Room, located at 3501 E. Orange St. in Pearland from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Participants are required to sign up and pay prior to the first day of their desired session date, to ensure a spot.

After many months City of Pearland will move back into City Hall starting today May, 26, 2009. The move is scheduled to take a couple of days.  
Pearland City Hall is located at 3519 Liberty Drive in Pearland.
Pearland City Hall was damaged during Hurricane Ike.  Ike made its final landfall east of Galveston, Texas on September 13, 2008.
The City of Pearland has stated that all services for the City of Pearland will not be interrupted during the move back into City Hall. For further information on the move.
