Keep Pearland Beautiful (KPB) invites you and your friends to the 8th Annual 'Plant Thyme Fall Luncheon' in conjunction with the 7th Annual Herb and Plant Sale - at the Pearland Community Center, 3523 Liberty Dr., on Friday, October 7. Luncheon tickets are $30, with proceeds benefiting KPB projects and the new Environmental Education Center Building Fund. 
 
The speaker, Greg Grant, is a horticulturist, conservationist, garden writer, and seventh generation East Texan from Arcadia , Texas .

If you have been to the Pearland Farmer's Market, then you know how great it is!  There are so many great vendors there! With items ranging from local fruits and vegetable to canned jams and honey - there's something for everyone!
The Pearland Farmer's Market has now expanded to a year-round format, and continues to operate on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month at Zychlinski Park, north of Alvin Community College on Grand Boulevard. Market hours are 8 a.m. - noon.

Pearland Old Townsite Farmer's Market
 
This past weekend marked the grand opening of the Pearland Old Townsite Farmer's Market. If you weren't there, you missed an exciting community event!
I had the opportunity to go this weekend with my family and we had a great time!  I was so impressed by the variety of vendors at the Pearland Old Townsite Farmer's Market. 
Plus, the Market is wrapped around the Zylinski Park.  The perfect place for the kids to play.  All the parents and kids I saw were happy and having a blast.
