bourne real estate: Cape Cod Snow Storm January 2012 - 01/21/12 03:13 PM

Well, we have been spared until now. Today we showed a few homes but the conditions were less than ideal. The picture below is of the Bourne Bridge headed south over to Cape Cod. I was on the way back to Falmouth from Sagamore Beach. This picture was taken at around 12:30 and the weather has continued to go down hill from that point.
Many drivers were going very slow, because the sand trucks and plows hadn't treated very many of the road ways. no, from my Main Street Office in Falmouth, the plows are occasionally going by, but it seems … (1 comments)

Beautiful home in a beautiful place. If you did not know this is Cape Cod, you might think it is Florida, California, or Hawaii.
Come sit on the patio and read your paperback mystery. Or have friends over for scallops, lobster, and libations.
No bridge traffic to deal with to get here. Tennis club nearby, boating, and fishing, too. This is the reward for all your hard work. I'd move right in.

Bourne, Massachusetts is the "gateway" to Cape Cod. This term used to be the designation for Wareham, but since Route 495 ends at the Bourne Bridge, Bourne has taken on this designation. Bourne is also the entrance to the Sagamore Bridge, so it has both accesses to the Cape covered. Some of the areas of Bourne known to the locals and tourists are Sagamore, Bourne, Pocasset, Monument Beach, Otis, and Gray Gables. Gray Gables became popular when President Grover Cleveland used it as his summer place.
