bank owned: Cape San Blas Real Estate Week in Review - July 17-23, 2010 - 07/24/10 01:57 PM
If no news is good news, then we've had a very good week as there is still no oil and now no Bonnie. We've also had another good week in real estate, with two sales, four new contracts, five new listings, and eight price changes. No change in our inventory, though, hanging steady at 415, with 164 houses and 251 lots listed for sale in the MLS in the Cape San Blas, Indian Pass, and C-30 Corridor market. Both of our sales were on the Cape, starting with a short sale on this 4-bedroom, 4 1/2 bath, 3,789 square feet home in Seagrass built

Warm weather is returning bringing with it spring breakers and buyers. Another busy week with lots to report so let's get right to it. We had two sales this week, three new contracts, a whopping seventeen new listings and just one price change. All those new listings helped swell our inventory of MLS listings in the Cape San Blas, Indian Pass and C-30 market to 359, up nine from last week, with 140 houses and 219 lots for sale. The first of our two sales is this 4-bedroom, 3-bath, 3,633 square foot gulf front home up in Secluded Dunes, just outside the

bank owned: Cape San Blas Real Estate Week in Review - Feb. 27 - Mar. 5, 2010 - 03/06/10 02:07 PM
It may still be cold outside but it's been a smokin' hot week for our company, Boardwalk Realty. There were three sales and three new contracts this week, and we participated in all three of those sales and two out of three of the new contracts. Not bad at all! I could handle that becoming the new norm. In other action there were eight new listings and seven price changes, leaving us at week's end with an inventory of 350 active MLS listings in the Cape San Blas, Indian Pass and C-30 market, down seven from last week, with 132 homes

I had a full schedule this week but on Tuesday the flu showed up unannounced, knocked me down and took over completely until Saturday, by which time I had a slew of burning items in my To Do List all clamoring for first place. And so this Sunday update. It was a busy week yet again, with three sales and two new contracts, eight new listings and eleven price changes. All this activity shifts our inventory only slightly northward up four from last week to 352, with 132 homes and 220 lots listed for sale in the MLS in the Cape San Blas, Indian Pass

"There's something happening here, what it is ain't exactly clear . . . " I've been hearing that Buffalo Springfield line running through my head a lot this week as I and my colleagues try to figure out what has sparked this sudden burst of activity. Everyone I've talked to the past few days is wondering the same thing. Good news: our inventory shrank a bit since last Saturday, down by eight ending at 416, with 152 houses and 264 lots in the MLS in the Cape San Blas, Indian Pass and C-30 Corridor markets. It's been a banner week for sales, with

(My 5-year-old+ laptop finally called it quits and I've been switching over to a new computer system since Friday - most of my programs and files are now playing together nicely but still have a few glitches to work out. The MLS doesn't want to give me the links I usually include which is what I've been wrestling with and why this update is appearing on Sunday rather than in its usual Saturday time slot. In the interest of putting this post to bed I'm giving up on the links for now and will try to have things ironed out by next Saturday.) Not

Did someone say summer is over? You'd never know it around here as the thermometer seems stuck around 90. While some parts of the country will see their first dusting of snow this weekend, we'll be heading to the beach which is where I think most of our buyers must have gone this week as they sure weren't doing much in the way of real estate. After several consecutive fairly active weeks, we had only two closings, no new contracts, two new listings and seven price changes. Unfortunately what did change was our overall inventory, which continues to creep back up, this time by

bank owned: Cape San Blas Real Estate Market Week in Review Week of Feb. 14-20, 2009 - 02/21/09 01:56 PM
The stock market may have been in a turmoil but local real estate had a bullish week, with not just one but two closings, one new contract, four new listings and ten new price tags. Our inventory unfortunately continues to creep back upward, ending the week up two from last week, with a total of 379 active MLS listings in the Cape San Blas, Indian Pass and C-30 market, with 148 homes, and 231 lots. That's a 6% increase just since the first of the year. Interestingly, both of our sales this week were land, one a 100′ wide gulf to roadfront
