I wrote this a couple of days ago having been inspired by an event during an early morning walk. Hope you enjoy it.

 

I have wished upon stars and had dreams of faraway places,

And, this morning I happened upon one that would soon fade away and I wondered where it would go.

As I squinted to see its' last dying image, it dawned upon me that this is what life is about.

I left that place, comforted, that I will see it again, after its' cycle repeats; which, could last over a span of many seasons; only vanishing when eternity comes to an end.
