Gulf Oil Spill Claim Options For Realtors - 08/31/10 08:45 AM
I have done some investigation as to what is involved in presenting a claim for monetary damages as a result of the oil spill (florida guidelines)
What I have learned is that if you the realtor believes you might have suffered a loss of business and are willing to provide some past commission information, along with this years commission information, that information will be put through a formula, which determines if you have suffered a loss, then assigns a value to the loss up to $12,000.00.

While I have been officially licensed by the State of Florida as a Realtor for a little over a year, I have already came across several situations that have left me questioning the licensing process, or the way around it some people seem to be taking.
Two things in particiular I am puzzled by. How can a firm or individual who does not hold a valid real estate license of any type, perform functions as a property manager who leases out homes for seasonal guest. What an eye opening experience. I have been struggling with how to engage my advertising budget so that I am getting the most bang for the buck, while insuring that the marketing is cutting edge, and in step with the times, while looking towards the future with an eye towards a complete system.
I unexpectedly found that yesterday while attedning Rain Camp in Orlando. I want to thank all the staff, especially Ben Kinney, for sharing a great deal of technical information that I could understand at a novice level.

Wow what a lot. It is zoned for multi-family use (income producing/or private enjoyment), located on the rubicond canal system (with an intersecting view), one bridge to the gulf (in either direction). Not many of these left, especially at this price and in this great of a neighborhood.
