The demand for food and other supplies from Hebron's food pantry has nearly doubled in recent weeks, as many more local families are turning to the food pantry, which is run by Hebron Interfaith Human Services (HIHS) to help them meet their needs. The donation of the following items are urgently needed: tuna, jelly, peanut butter, cereal, canned meats, canned fruit, spaghetti sauce, snack foods, all cleaning products, toilet paper and all personal care products. Donations can be delivered to HIHS, which is located at 20 Pendleton Dr, Hebron, CT, from 9am -3:30pm. Monday through Thursday.

On Tues July 8 from 9am-12:30pm, the East Hampton Senior Center will host a mobile mammography clinic. This service makes it convenient for women to have a screening mammogram, which is used to identify breast cancer. This program reaches ot to women who would otherwise not have access to mammography services including women without insurance coverage. CPR & First Aid Training sessions are coming up at AHM Youth and Family Services. CPR training will be held On Tues July 15 and First Aid training on Thurs July 17, both starting at 6pm at the AHM Community Building, 25 Pendelton Ave, Hebron.
