kingsland ga homes for sale: Homeownership Still Pays - 06/04/09 01:48 PM
Home-equity snapshots paint a bright picture.
Many Americans have taken a hit to their home equity over the past couple of years, and some may wonder if it's really the smartest financial decision to own a home. Owners' wealth exceeds that of renters by a factor of 50-to-1: a median of $205,200 versus a median of $4,200. The main wealth difference … (2 comments)

Like the federal $8,000 tax credit for first time home buyers, the State of Georgia is implementing and an additional tax credit for Georgia home buyers.
Governor Perdue signed House Bill 261 creating a Georgia income tax credit up for the purchase of an eligible single-family residence. It is a credit of 1.2% of the purchase price, up to $1,800, spread out over 3 years. Although the bill was signed the credit is limited to eligible purchases made between June 1, 2009 and November 30, 2009. kingsland ga homes for sale: Can life get any better? - 12/04/08 01:13 PM
Life getting better or worse is all a matter of perspective.  If you ask the average real estate agent they will tell you they'd like to see more sales and increased income.  In contrast, if you ask the "above average" real estate agent you may find a different opinion (slow markets drive bad agents out of the profession).
The big question for potential buyers is "Can life get any better?"  With interest rates dropping to the levels we saw during the 2005 boom (solidly below 6%) mixed with the fact that prices have dropped considerably - I am of the opinion … (0 comments)
