I have been successfully selling residential real estate in the State of Maryland for over 23 years. I specialize in Montgomery County and lower Frederick County. Consistently a top producer, I pride myself on my honesty, integrity and going the extra mile for my clients. I am very proud of the fact that the majority of my real estate business comes from referrals from past and present clients. Over the years I have served about as many buyers as I have sellers so I always say, when asked how many buyers vs how many sellers do you serve, that it is about 50-50. I genuinely enjoy helping people and I think you will agree that real estate is certainly a people business. So I guess you could say that I found my niche 23 years ago when I decided to give the real estate industry a try. I have seen agents come and go; I have seen the industry itself go through numerous changes; and still I enjoy the thrill and excitement my buyers and sellers feel when they find that perfect house!! It is a great feeling to be a part of their happiness!!! And, it is even more exciting, for me at least, when they start referring their children and their children's friends to me.

Prior to my real estate career, I attended the University of Maryland where I graduated with a BA Degree in English/Sociology. I then spent 23 years with the Federal Government, working first with the General Counsel at the Department of Commerce, later the Under Secretary of Commerce and finally as a member of the Office of Coastal Zone Management at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administrtation at the Department of Commerce.

Two years ago, my husband and I purchased a home in Sun City/Hilton Head, South Carolina, where I also have my real estate license and am proud to be affiliated with the Saunders/Tomlinson Team at Remax Island Realty in Hilton Head. You must visit my website at Caroleshomes.net to see the beauty and calm of this rapidly growing area of S.C. We are 25 miles from the historic cities of Beaufort, S.C. and Savannah, Ga. If you are in the area, call me at 301 580-3006, I'd love to show you around!!!

Tragedy struck our lives in May of 2007 when I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. I have been undergoing chemotheraphy since that time, but am soon to have that regiment of my treatment behind me. I am strong like the energizer bunny and have refused to let this illness control me. I joined Curves in early August to make certain I maintained my strength and energy, and I have!!! Of course, I can't take all the credit. I have so many angels watching over me, praying for me, loving me and just making certain that the halo of strength they placed upon me doesn't slip too often. And it doesn't, thank God!!! I maintain my daily routine with vim and vigor and will soon have all of this behind me.
