I would like to introduce you to my dog, Celah.  She is a wonderful friend.  She loves to go with me wherever I go, and is a great traveling companion.  We have actually taken long trips together.   Unfortunately, I cannot take her with me to my home inspections.  Although she has impeccable manners, I do not think the clients that have hired me to do their home inspection would be amused if I showed up and she jumped out of the truck. :-)

There have been a handful of times, that I was comfortable taking her with me, when the home was vacant, most likely a foreclosure, and no one was meeting me at the inspection.   She is always elated when she realizes I am letting her come with me.    She just loves hanging out together.  She acts like a real person.    If she could speak, I am sure she would give me a great testimonial!!

If she could speak she would tell you that my routine starts out with driving, sometimes quite a distance.  Then walking all around and on top of a house that we have arrived at.  Then going all through the inside of the house, checking out everything in it, and finally crawling underneath it.   I eventually load up all my tools and ladder back in the truck, and begin the drive back home.   This is an enjoyable time, because we usually eat our snacks while we are driving.  Yum Yum!

At home,  I get my laptop, find a place to sit, and begin writing the inspection report.  Of course, Celah is comfortably at my feet, reveling in the memory that she spent the day with me.

You can get a  more Detailed Description of a typical home inspection that I perform, other than from Celah’s perspective, if you are interested. Just click the link!

Here is a picture of Celah, watching me, waiting for me to give her the OK to come.  You can see more pictures and read more about the Beauceron Breed at www.beaucerondelapilgrimage.com.
