According to the article Condos Tighten the Rules on NYTimes.com buying a condominium is supposed to be much easier than buying a cooperative, however in recent years condo boards have been tightening the rules and the requirements have become stricter. Furthermore, condos are more expensive than co-ops and for this reason, condo boards have more likely than not denied potential buyers for not having enough money. Furthermore,each market's median priced home was divided by annual rents and subtracted by taxes and insurance.
