SUNDAY MORNING WAKE-UP ::: An Accidental Inspirational Moment - 05/17/09 08:59 AM
It's Sunday morning. I've been sick for over a week, not sleeping, and generally just cranky and tired. Upon waking, the house is quiet. I'm the only one here ... except for these hirsute, vertically challenged children. Stumble from the bed, turn the coffee pot on, click the button on the TV remote to catch the Sunday morning news. Oooops! That's not the news. Some tele-evangelist is on ... but I can't turn the channel. I'm hearing a message ... and it's meant for me. How did that happen? That's a given. And (21 comments)
Pink is My Favorite Color...or NOT - 05/02/09 05:18 PM
My online friend Missy Caulk has asked for our help. Her husband, Mike, was handed his walking papers from the school system in their area. That, in itself, is traumatic. But now it's time for the wonderful members of Active Rain to rise to the cause and see if there may be a place for Mike to teach in Nashville. If you're new and haven't followed Missy's posts ... well, you should. You will learn so very much just from reading her tips and help topics.
