graham nc: THE LIGHT WENT ON! ::: Why do we do it? - 04/01/09 11:11 AM
Graham, North Carolina BREAKING NEWS! Yep! BREAKING NEWS! The light? What stinking light? Well, I'll tell ya ... I got one of those emails this morning .... you know .... the ones where there is a cutesy poem about being friends, how cool we all are, etc. And that was nice. I really like the person that sent it - although she sends way too many of them at times. But I digress ... What caught my eye was not the poem itself. Nope. It was the lead in line that was in big purple letters. Yep ...

graham nc: INSTRUCTION SHEET ::: How To Treat Others ... as seen through the eyes of the Native American - 03/26/09 12:27 PM
I was doing some aimless web surfing and came across this 'lesson' in how we all should be treating each other. I wanted to share with all of you since there seems to be a recent rash of misinterpretations and disinterpretations of some posts recently. We cannot all be expected to think alike. That would be boring as all get out. But we can try to remember that it pays to remember that we are all different - and in doing so realize that we are not going to agree 100% of the time. Nor are we going to think alike

graham nc: SPEECHLESS SUNDAY ::: Almost ... My fascination with Cardinals - 03/15/09 11:44 AM
This guy and his family have taken residence in my backyard and he relies on my making sure there is suet and seed for his brood. Rather presuptuous of him, isn't it? He brought his mate this morning, but she wasn't willing to be photographed. Such a camera shy girl.

graham nc: GEMS OF ALAMANCE COUNTY: Graham, NC - Get your Just Desserts - 02/23/09 07:56 PM
It's amazing just what one can stumble on by actuall walking their own town. The other evening I decided I was going into town (that's Graham, NC) and stroll Court Square as a way to decompress and get a new focus on life in general. So, off I went. I parked across from the cinema and decided to just walk and look in the windows of the various businesses. First I encountered Graham Travel. What caught my eye at this point was the most adorable Golden Retriever puppy laying next to the desk of the woman inside. My curiosity got the

graham nc: Graham, North Carolina: A great place to call home! - 02/15/09 05:20 PM
Graham, North Carolina There have been numerous posts and articles lately about where "the best" place to live is. And. just by human nature, we all think that ours is the best place. After doing a little research I am convinced that I do live in the 'best' place, or at least in one of the best places around. Graham, North Carolina. If you're curious about the housing market in Graham, North Carolina, then perhaps these charts will help explain why I am bragging. Our area (market) may not boast the largest amount of multi-million dollar estates, or have all the

graham nc: Born again? Is it possible? Of course it is ... - 02/07/09 04:50 PM
A dear friend sent me an email today that held one of the most powerful videos I have seen in a long time. It goes without saying that we, as a country, are in a bit of a mess right now. And we all have our own ideas of what caused the mess and what should be done to fix it. Some will agree, some won't. But that's the beauty of being an American. We can disagree and not be condemned for it - at least that's how it is in my world. I hope you will enjoy the video. The
