 Boeing Charleston, SC

 

A grand slam took place on November 2nd and it wasn’t in Yankee Stadium during a World Series game but in Charleston, SC when Boeing announced that they had chosen its North Charleston, S.C., facility over Everette, WA as the location for a second final assembly site for the 787 Dreamliner program.

The economic impact the new Boeing Plant will have on the Charleston tri-county area and South Carolina as a whole is enormous. The Boeing announcement is going to result in a paradigm shift for the Charleston economy. Not only are we talking about thousands of much needed jobs but there will be a trickle down economic effect that will help local businesses in every sector especially real estate.
