Every year I put in a garden and several varieties of vegetables. We have been picking for the last couple of months and eating these fresh vegetables almost daily.
There is only one vegetable left that the heat and drought has not affected. That is my two rows of okra.
I could have watered the garden but it would have taken a ton of water and really how much money would I save verses going to the supermarket and purchasing vegetables.

Rough but Blessed Weekend - 07/19/11 10:46 AM
This past Friday my father in law had a mild heart attack and we took him to the local emergency room who wanted him moved to a Jackson,Tn hospital. He was in no discomfort but around 2:30 in the morning he went into cardiac arrest.
They revived him and did an emergency heart cath then balloons and stints. This stablized him and they also told us he needs open heart surgery later for 2 additional blockages.
