Is Your Local Real Estate Market Turning? Mine is! - 11/30/11 06:05 PM
Is your local real estate market turning positive? My Dyersburg real estate market has turned "red hot" the last 4 weeks and I expect it to continue through the new year.
Please let me know where you are located and how your local market is doing? My friend Larry Brewer in Franklin,Tennessee tells me his market has turned extremely positive but then others here are telling me differently.
Also please tell me why you believe your local market is doing better or why it has not turned around yet.

Stop! Don't Buy That Lipitor Now! - 11/18/11 01:26 PM
If your prescription Lipitor has run out don't refill it before reading this.
Lipitor is going generic on December 1, 2011. If you are like me you have been spending lots of money for the name brand Lipitor. Well no more, now it will be available at places like Walmart Pharmacy for $4.
If you cannot wait until December 1st, your doctor has some coupons from Lipitor allowing you to buy right now for $4. I guess the company that makes Lipitor is trying to hold on to some of the business that would have left anyway on December 1st.

Great News Out of Vanderbilt Hospital For Chuck - 11/15/11 02:48 PM
I just got a notification that after the second round of Leukemia chemo that Chuck Walden's bone marrow is now leukemia free.
I have asked on more that one occasion that all my spiritual friends here in the rain pray earnestly for Chuck's recovery. Some would say that God heard our prayers but we already know he hears our prayers. God has chosen to answer our prayer in the affirmitive that the Leukemia cells be removed from Chuck's body.

Remembering All Our Veterans This Veterans Day! - 11/10/11 11:19 AM
I just wanted to personally thank(through this post) all you veterans out there that served our country.
Today is the birthday(236 years old today) of the United States Marines and to all my brothers in arms I say Semper Fi. That goes for you too John March. Although I was in another branch of the service(Air Force), I have a great respect for the Marines.

We Love the Destin Florida Pelican Beach Resort! - 11/02/11 04:14 PM
I just received a call from a guy wanting to book my Destin Florida beachfront condo for their next vacation. The caller(Mark) told me that he and his wife love the resort so much that they got married on the beach at the resort and have returned year after year for their vacation(10 years).
They were driving from Birmingham but moved to Texas a few years ago but that hasn't interrupted their love afair with the Pelican Beach Resort in Destin.
