I'm Really Seeing The Value of Twitter This Week - 05/18/08 11:18 PM
I'm too busy and I'm not complaining. I had a great week with two closings and thought, I'll take it easy on Friday, it's my anniversary (27th), I'll have lunch with my husband and finally plan my daughter's graduation party- to be held on Saturday. I ended up selling two houses. I didn't eat lunch til 4:30pm and was at Wal-mart til midnight buying party supplies. Life is crazy like that but as a Realtor you have to roll with it.

Have you had the dream transactions with super clients that a few days before closing turn into a nightmare? I had one scheduled to close on Monday and another tomorrow. Last Wednesday we started to get indications that we wouldn't close Monday and the underwriter was getting shaky because we didn't have the required info on official letterhead after repeated requests. I spend countless hours making phone calls, emailing and faxing. The situation resolved itself and we closed Tuesday.

Summer is coming and there's nothing nicer than spending the day at the pool. With beautiful views of the Peaks of Otter, it doesn't get much better than this. The Lake Vista Pool is scheduled to reopen for the season on May 24th, just in time for the Memorial Day weekend! The hours of operation are:
Monday - Friday 10am - 9:30pm
Saturday - 9am - 9:30pm
Sundays - 9am- 9:30pm

Well, the last few weeks have been a blur between work, going away for my anniversary, preparing to move my oldest daughter out of her apartment and preparing for my youngest daughter's high school graduation. I am exhausted! We've homeschooled Megan for 10 of twelve years and one of the highlights she was looking forward to was the graduation ceremony complete with cap and gown. However, we live in Virginia and the ceremony was taking place in Pensacola, Florida.

All good things must come to an end and today we head home after a great week of vacation in Mexico. Yesterday we took a boat tour and our Mexican guide had this joke for us:
