The town of Appomattox, Virginia is the latest locality to limit water use. Last night, town council voted unanimously. They have declared a water emergency and have implemented mandatory restriction that are in effect immediately. Water levels in the town wells are very low. Oh, for a bit of rain! The temperature in Lynchburg reached 83 degrees today. Tomorrow, it's expected to rise to 90. I can't recall the last time we had rain in Forest.
