The Burg Magazine just released its Best Of Lynchburg list and named Jasmin Harris Of Big Lick Tropical Grill as the best bartender in Lynchburg. Congratulations Jasmin!
If you're looking for a great lunch at a reasonable price you have to check out Big Lick in Lynchburg. Located in front of Cattle Annie's on Rte 29 North, this restaurant has 30 lunch choices on its menu and daily specials. The food is great and the service is fast. The toughest thing is making a selection with all of the choices offered (I guess that means you have to go back!)

The Burg Magazine just released their Best of the Burg list for 2007 and Amazement Square was named the best local attraction. This is a hands on Museum with four floors to explore, slide and climb through. There are plenty of interactive exhibits that encourage visitors to explore global and regional topics, (check out the Book Nook), arts and humanities, science and health themes while providing a relaxed learning environment. Along with the new Riverfront Skatepark, this is a home run for the kids!

Tuesday - Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm
Sunday 1:00pm-5:00pm
Open Mondays & major holidays
and Memorial Day thru Labor Day 1:00pm-5:00pm

Are you looking for something fun to do in downtown Lynchburg on a Saturday night? Check out the Starlight Cafe. Offering more than a cup of coffee, we were pleasantly surprised with the live entertainment. Several groups performed including The Wright Brothers who were our favorites with their blue grass style music. No cover charge.
Located right next to Machu Picchu Peruvian Restaurant, The Starlight Cafe is open from:
6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday -Friday
8:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Weekends
